"The Week in Videos."

First, the important information:

The BNP are targeting the North-West of England in the upcoming local and EU elections. It's sad that our electoral process has been reduced to a situation where our primary objective is stopping a party coming to power rather than enabling a party to come to a power.

Second, spoilers ahoy for Lost:

In an excellent season finale, poor Benjamin Linus tells the truth for once. Ben is one of the great characters of modern television: he's a sociopath and a compulsive liar but he's sympathetic enough that his petulant monologues always make the audience feel for him.

What in God's name have they done to Holmes?

During the first few seconds of that trailer, I felt optimistic. A moody Victorian atmosphere; murder in the air; trouble on the streets of old London town. Then Robert Downey Jr. popped up with two day's worth of stubble and began punching people. Everything in this decade is already so 'gritty' and 'reimagined': can't Holmes be left as Holmes? Isn't it enough that the character spend hours in his parlour talking with his 'friend' Watson before arrogantly solving an impossible crime? If you want a gritty reimagining of Sherlock Holmes, watch House: don't call Guy Ritchie to turn Holmes into a lout.

The leaked proof-of-concept trailer for the new game from the makers of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus code-named Project Trico:

Despite looking like the trailer for a Disney movie, this has me very excited. It's been so long since I played an original, intelligent game that I've been losing faith in the entire gaming industry. Help me, Team Ico - you're my only hope.
